EAM Jaishankar signs condolence book at UAE Embassy on passing away of late President Sheikh Khalifa

External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar today signed the condolence book at the Embassy of United Arab Emirates in New Delhi extending India’s deepest condolences on the passing away of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the late President of the United Arab Emirates. In a tweet, Dr Jaishankar said, India will always be thankful for the vision and leadership of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan that has brought both countries so close. He said, we best honour him by taking forward the India-UAE Strategic Partnership.

The National Flag is flown at half-mast as Government of India is observing one day’s state mourning as a mark of respect to Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan who passed away yesterday.
