Over 164 crore 44 lakh COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive in the country.
Meanwhile, India’s active Covid-19 caseload currently stands at over 21 lakh 5 thousand. The recovery rate is currently at 93.6 percent. Over three lakh 47 thousand patients have recovered in the last 24 hours. Over two lakh 51 thousand new cases were reported in the last 24 hours. 72 crore 37 lakh Tests have been conducted so far in the country.
Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has said that in just 19 days, more than one crore Precaution Dose have been administered to healthcare and frontline workers and eligible people above 60 years of age. In a tweet, Mr Mandaviya said, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the world’s largest vaccination campaign is continuously scaling new heights.
