Union Health Ministry has said that more than 160 crore 58 lakh Covid vaccine doses have been provided to States and Union Territories so far. It said, more than 12 crore 79 lakh balance and unutilized COVID Vaccine doses are still available with the States and UTs to be administered to the beneficiaries.
As a part of the nationwide vaccination drive, Government of India has been supporting the States and UTs by providing them COVID vaccines free of cost.
