Gold prices rise Rs 15 at Multi Commodity Exchange for February contracts

Gold prices on Friday rose 15 rupees at Multi Commodity Exchange for February contracts. The precious metal was trading at 47,465 rupees per 10 gram in intra-day trade.

Silver prices also added 30 rupees to 60,460 rupees per kilogram for March Contracts when reports last came in.

In the New York Mercantile Exchange, gold was up marginally to trade at 1,792 US dollars and 10 cents per ounce. Silver prices were also up to trade at 22 dollars an 20 cents per ounce in intra-day trade.
