|Minister of State for Culture Meenakshi Lekhi along with Secretary Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology Ajay Sawhney today felicitated the winners of several MyGov challenges. These challenges are part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Lekhi lauded all the winners and appreciated the efforts of MyGov platform through which the government and citizens can interact with each other.
She said, MyGov platform needs to go global to reach more people and spread India’s culture. She said, through the launch of the platform, government is able to reach out to many people. The Minister said, MyGov platform needs to be further utilized and all the citizens need to participate more in policy-making, advise the government and give more ideas.
The government’s digital platform MyGov was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on July 26, 2014. MyGov collaborates with multiple government bodies and Ministries to engage with citizens for policy formulation and seeks the opinion of people on issues and topics of public interest and welfare.
