Vice President, PM Modi pay tributes to Loknayak Jayaprakash Narayan on his Jayanti

Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have paid tributes to Loknayak Jayaprakash Narayan on his Jayanti. In a tweet, Mr Naidu said, Jayaprakash Narayan, an iconic revolutionary and social crusader, was one of the main architects of modern India. Mr Naidu said, he became a glowing symbol of India’s fight against corruption and anti-democratic conduct.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, Jayaprakash Narayan was a remarkable personality, who left an indelible mark on India’s history. Mr Modi said, he devoted himself to public welfare initiatives and was at the forefront of protecting India’s democratic ethos.
