India and China will hold 13th rounds of military-level talks in Moldo along LAC this morning. Indian Army and People’s Liberation Army are holding talks after a gap of two months to discuss disengagements in remaining areas of Eastern Ladakh.
Ahead of second winter in Eastern Ladakh, India and China are meeting for the 13th time, at Moldo on China’s side today at 10.30 hours, while last round of talks between both the parties was held on 31st of July. Sources said, this round of talks are focussing on Hotsprings and Depsang areas in eastern Ladakh.
Twelve rounds of talks have yielded desired results in maintaining peace and tranquillity on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) excepting the bloody faceoff at Galwan valley since the military stand-off from April 2020. Today, PLA’s newly appointed western theatre commander General Wang Haijiang will host Fire and Fury Corps GoC, Lt General PGK Menon led Indian delegation in the 13th round of talks
