In Jammu and Kashmir, Air Force Station Srinagar will conduct an Air Show at Dal Lake in Srinagar at 9 this morning, as part of part Azadi Ka Amrut Mohotsav. The Air Show, being organised in collaboration with the Jammu and Kashmir government, will be flagged off in the morning by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha. The event titled, “Give Wings to your Dreams” will also consist of a photo- exhibition at the venue to highlight the history of the Indian Air Force.
On the occasion, Symphony Orchestra of the Indian Air Force would be adding glitter to the Air Show. AIR Correspondent reports that more than three thousand college and school going students and about seven hundred teachers are expected to participate in the programme to witness the impressive “Air Show” by the Indian Air Force. The event will motivate the students to dream about making their career in the Indian Air Force and in the Aviation Sector.
During the demonstration, students will be familiarized with the new technological advancements achieved by the Indian Air Force while flying the aircrafts in the sky over the world famous Dal Lake in Srinagar. The display will include flypast by various aircrafts of Indian Air Force.The spectators would also be able to get to witness paramotor flying and Indian Air Force’s skydiving team Akash Ganga in action. Ambassadors of Indian Air Force, Suryakiran Aerobatic DisplayTeam will be performing in Kashmir Valley after a gap of fourteen years.
