The Central Meteorological Department has forecast strong winds and bad weather along the Kerala-Lakshadweep coast and in the south-eastern Arabian Sea regions on the 26th and 27th of this month.
Strong winds are likely to be witnessed in the southwestern Bay of Bengal, Kanyakumari coast and the Gulf of Mannar.
The Disaster Management Authority has warned fishermen not to venture out into the sea for fishing on these days.
Moreover, The Central Meteorological Department has forecast isolated spells of rain showers in Kerala till the 29th of this month.
Heavy rains will continue in Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Idukki and Palakkad districts today.
Meanwhile, a yellow alert has been declared in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Idukki and Palakkad districts tomorrow.
