Final results of UPSC Civil Services Examination, 2020 announced; Shubham Kumar tops rankings

Union Public Service Commission announced the final result of Civil Services Examination, 2020 yesterday. A total number of 761 candidates have been recommended for appointment. Shubham Kumar has become the top ranker, followed by Jagrati Awasthi and Ankita Jain has got third rank.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated candidates who successfully cleared the UPSC Civil Services Examination. In a series of tweets today, Mr. Modi said, an exciting and satisfying career in public service awaits. He said, those who have cleared the exam will go on to have key administrative roles during an important period of our nation’s journey.

Mr. Modi said, those young friends who did not clear the UPSC examination are also very talented individuals and there are more attempts awaiting. He said, India is full of diverse opportunities waiting to be explored.
