Indian diaspora, Silicon valley experts await Prime Minister Modi’s visit to US

The Experts from Silicon Valley in USA are looking forward to Prime Minister’s visit to the states . The former Chairperson of TIE Global, Venkatesh Shukla from San Francisco shared his thoughts with All India Radio . According to him, it’s high time that the startups in space and energy sector from India are connected with the the US government agencies engaged in the innovations in these areas.

The Silicon valley and the Indian Entrepreneurs in USA welcome the visit of Prime Minister. It is also an opportunity to enhance the scope of collaboration with the innovations brought about by startups in India in Space and in Energy industry. Given the congruence of strategic interest between US and India, it makes sense for these startups to get connected to the US government agencies and Departments of Defence and Energy. If there is a way to open up US government agencies to innovation from India, it will be a tremendous win-win for all the parties.

Mr. Shukla also underlined the importance of knowledge sharing in the cutting edge innovations in the cyber security space.

US government agencies engaged in cutting edge innovations in the cyber security space that seek to protect critical infrastructure from enemy attacks can share their expertise with India. An arrangement to share such innovation with the Government of India will be another win-win arrangement.

The Indian diaspora in United States is eagerly awaiting the visit of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Talking to AIR News, the President of SEWA International from Houston said, it will further consolidate the bilateral relations and pave the way for new dynamism and energy in India-US relations.
