Union MoS Dr. L. Murugan files his nomination papers for Rajya Sabha by-election from MP

Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying Dr. L. Murugan today filed his nomination papers for the Rajya Sabha by-election from Madhya Pradesh.

Earlier, Dr. Murugan was warmly welcomed at Raja Bhoj airport and BJP office on his arrival in Bhopal today. Union Jal Shakti Minister Prahlad Singh Patel has also accompanied him.

Dr. Murugan told AIR News that the aim of his ministry is to disseminate information to the public welfare schemes of the government to the common people so that everyone can get the benefit of them.

Dr Murugan, while thanking the party leadership for giving an opportunity from Madhya Pradesh in the Rajya Sabha, said that there is no difference between the culture of South and North India.

Dr. Murugan credited the success of the Covid vaccination drive to the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He also appreciated the success achieved by Madhya Pradesh in the vaccination.

The Minister will also interact with the officers of the various units attached to his ministries this evening.
