In Cricket, the much-awaited second leg of Indian Premier League, IPL 2021 kicked off this evening with a high-octane clash between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings at Dubai International Stadium.
Chasing the target of 157 runs, Mumbai were 91 for five wickets in 14 overs against Chennai when reports last came in.
Earlier, after winning the toss, Chennai posted 156 runs for six wickets in the stipulated 20 overs riding on Ruturaj Gaikwad’s unbeaten 88 off 58, Ravindra Jadeja’s 26 off 33 and Dwayne Bravo’s 23 off eight balls.
For Mumbai Indians, Trent Boult, Jasprit Bumrah and Adam Milne scalped two wickets each.
