Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar inaugurates five NIELIT Centres in North East Region

The Union Minister of State in the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Rajeev Chandrasekhar reached at Imphal on Thursday.

The Minister visited Churachandpur district and inaugurated a NIELIT Centre at Tuibong. He also inaugurated NIELIT Centres constructed at Aizawl of Mizoram and Kokrajhar and Tejpur of Assam through video conferencing.

Shri Rajeev also interacted with the students of NIELIT and assured that the degree course would be introduced at NIELT Centre, Churachandpur.

Just after arrival at Imphal, the Minister visited Ruman Tech PMKK Centre at Imphal and attended the certificate distribution programme.

The Minister will leave Imphal early tomorrow morning for Kohima of Nagaland State.
