In Madhya Pradesh state government has decided to reopen schools for classes 1 to 5 from September 20 with 50% attendance. The decision was taken in a meeting chaired by the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. The consent from the parents will remain mandatory for children to attend the school.
The schools have been asked to follow the Covid-19 protocol. Online classes will also continue for students.
Vaccination against Covid 19 is mandatory for all the teaching and non teaching staff members.
Colleges are also being reopened in the state from today with 50 percent capacity. Meanwhile state reported 7 new positive cases while active cases stands at 126.
