Sensex falls 78 points to trade at 58,227 in afternoon session

At the stock markets, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange fell 78 points, or 0.1 per cent, to trade at 58,227, in the afternoon session, a short while ago. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange shed seven points, to 17,362, in intra-day trade.
