In Madhya Pradesh, the number of vaccinations in the state has crossed 5 crore mark. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has congratulated , the entire staff of the Health Department and frontline workers related to vaccination work for this achievement.
A total of more than 5 crore 69 thousand vaccine doses have been administered in the state so far. Of these, more than 4 crore have been given the first dose and more than 93 lakh people have been given the second doses. Efforts are being made by state government to achieve the target of administering the first dose of vaccine to 100 percent eligible population of the state by the end of September.
Meanwhile State reported 16 new cases including 12 in Jabalpur, 2 in Bhopal and 1 each in Indore and Rajgarh districts. The number of active cases in the state is 137.
