Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be addressing the inaugural conclave of Shikshak Parv on September 7, 2021, at 10:30 am via video conferencing. Union Minister of Education, Dharmendra Pradhan and Union Ministers of State for Education, Annpurna Devi, and Dr. Subhas Sarkar will also be present during the event.
India is celebrating Shikshak Parv 2021 from September 7 to 17 as per the vision of NEP2020. The Prime Minister will launch multiple key initiatives in the education sector during the event.

PM To Launch Several Projects
During the conclave, PM Modi will be launching several projects. These include:
– Indian Sign Language Dictionary of 10,000 words, an audio, and text embedded sign language video for the hearing impaired, in conformity with Universal Design of Learning
-Talking books which are audiobooks for the visually impaired
– School Quality Assurance and Assessment Framework of CBSE
– NISHTHA teachers’ training programme for NIPUN Bharat
– Vidyanjali portal for facilitating education volunteers/ donors/ CSR contributors for school development

Themes of Shikshak Parv, 2021
The theme of Shikshak Parv-2021 for September 7 is “Quality and Sustainable Schools: Learnings from Schools in India”. On each day of the conclave, a new theme will be taken up for discussions, such as Technology in Education – NDEAR, Digital Literacy for Youth and Adults, Foundational Literacy and Numeracy: A Pre-requisite to Learning, and ECCE among several others.
The celebration aims to encourage innovative practices to ensure continuity of education at all levels and improve quality, inclusive practices, and sustainability in the schools across the country as well.
