Prez Kovind, PM Modi congratulate Praveen Kumar for winning Silver Medal at Tokyo Paralympics

President Ram Nath Kovind has congratulated Praveen Kumar for winning the Silver Medal at the Tokyo Paralympics. In a tweet, the President said, Mr. Kumar’s silver medal in men’s high jump with a new Asian record has brought joy to every sport loving Indian. He said, Praveen Kumar’s success will inspire all budding athletes.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated Praveen Kumar for winning the Silver Medal at the Tokyo Paralympics. In a tweet, Mr. Modi said, this medal is the result of his hard work and unparalleled dedication. The Prime Minister extended best wishes for his future endeavours.

Later, Mr. Modi also spoke to him and lauded his hard work as well as the support he received from his coach and parents. Praveen Kumar thanked the Prime Minister for conveying good wishes.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin congratulated Praveen Kumar for setting a new Asian Record in High jump in the Tokyo Paralympics. Wishing success in all his future endeavors in a tweet today, he said that the success journey of India at the Paralympics continues with setting and breaking records.
