In Gujarat, the physical education of class 6 to 8 re-opens from today following the constant decrease in Covid19 cases. According to sources, many government and private schools have resumed physical teaching across the state under the government guidelines for Covid19.
The Gujarat government had announced the date for resumption of classroom teaching for standard 6 to 8 last month so that the futures of students are not spoiled. AIR Ahmedabad correspondent reports that the government guidelines and protocols for Covid19 are being strictly followed.
Schools for standard 6 to 8 begin in Gujarat with 50 percent capacity to maintain social distancing. Compulsory mask, sanitization and other Covid19 guidelines are being strictly followed during the class room teaching. Written consent of the parents are necessary for the students to attend the physical classes. There are more than 30 thousand schools in Gujarat.
According to the sources, some schools will resume the physical teaching in a phased manner in the coming days. Schools for above 9th standard and colleges had already opened earlier in a phased manner.
