VP Naidu launches Khadi India Quiz Contest organized by KVIC as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav

Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu today launched the Khadi India Quiz Contest organized by Khadi and Village Industries Commission as a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

Mr. Naidu appealed to the citizens to treat Khadi as national fabric and promote its use extensively. He called upon celebrities from various fields to come forward and promote the use of Khadi in a big way.

Urging everyone to take part in the Khadi India Quiz Contest, the Vice President said, the contest is an interesting way of taking us back to our roots. He said, it recollects the historic moments of our freedom struggle and the unparalleled contribution of our great freedom fighters.

Recalling the sacrifice of freedom fighters, Mr. Naidu said that freedom fighters like Matangini Hazra, Bhagat Singh, Pritilata Waddedar, Rajguru, Sukhdev did not think twice before sacrificing their lives to realize their common dream of a free nation.
