J&K: Infiltrating terrorist killed in early hours

In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, an infiltrating terrorist was killed in the early hours today.

According to PRO of defence Lt. Colonel Davinder Anand, terrorists from across the Line of Control (LoC) made an attempt to infiltrate in Poonch sector of Jammu division and alert Army troops detected the infiltration bid.

Troops opened fire and one terrorist was neutralised and his body along with an AK-47 assault rifle was recovered. The gunfight is still in progress in the area. More details are awaited.
