Prez, VP, PM congratulate Bhavina Patel on winning silver medal in Table Tennis at Tokyo Paralympics

President, Vice President and Prime Minister have congratulated Bhavina Patel on winning silver medal in Table Tennis at the Tokyo Paralympics.

President Ram Nath Kovind said, Bhavina Patel inspires the Indian contingent and sportslovers winning silver at Paralympics. Mr Kovind said, her extraordinary determination and skills have brought glory to India.

Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu said, the entire nation is proud of her remarkable accomplishment. Mr Naidu conveyed best wishes for her future endeavours.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, the remarkable Bhavina Patel has scripted history as she brings home a historic Silver medal. Mr Modi said, her life journey is motivating and will also draw more youngsters towards sports.

Sports Minister Anurag Thakur said, India wakes up to a Silver medal on the occasion of National Sports Day. He said, Bhavina wins India’s 1st Medal at Tokyo Paralympics. Mr Thakur said, it is an amazing start to the Paralympics. He said, Bhavina Patel clinched the Silver medal becoming the first Indian woman to do so in Para Table Tennis.
