Union govt provided over 60 crore 25 lakh COVID vaccine doses to States, UTs so far

The Union Government has provided over 60 crore 25 lakh COVID vaccine doses to the States and Union Territories so far. It assured that more than one crore 51 lakh vaccine doses will be received by the States and Union Territories in coming days. More than four crore 20 lakh unutilized COVID vaccine doses are still available with the States and Union Territories to be administered.

The Union Government is continuously engaged in accelerating the pace and expanding the scope of COVID-19 vaccination across the nation. The vaccination drive has been ramped up through availability of more vaccines, advance visibility of vaccine availability and streamlining the vaccine supply chain. As part of the Nationwide Vaccination Drive, the Union Government is supporting the States and Union Territories by providing COVID vaccines free of cost.
