Bihar: COVID vaccination coverage crosses over three crore mark

In Bihar, COVID vaccination coverage has crossed over three crore mark. Three crore 39 lakh 73 thousand beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the state so far.

Out of these, over two crore 83 lakh 49 thousand people received their first dose and 56 lakh 24 thousand their second dose. Health Minister Mangal Pandey said, over 50 lakh more people including teachers will be vaccinated till 5th of September.

Meanwhile, over seven lakh 15 thousand people have so far recovered from the Corona virus infection. The state recovery rate has risen to over 98 per cent while the test positivity rate has declined below one per cent. Twenty eight out of 38 districts in the state including Kishanganj, Madhubani and Gaya did not register any new cases.
