All preparations in place for conducting Common Entrance Test tomorrow: Karnataka Higher Education Minister

Karnataka Higher Education Minister Dr. C N Ashwatha Narayana has said that all preparations are in place for conducting the Common Entrance Test, CET tomorrow and day after for seeking entrance into professional courses.

The Kannada language test for outside state candidates will be held at six centers on August 30th. The entrance test will be held in 530 examination centers across the state where Covid precautions are ensured. The minister informed that 2,01,816 candidates have registered for CET. Biology and Maths tests will be held tomorrow and Physics and Chemistry test on August 29th.

The Deputy Commissioners in every district have appointed one observer of Assistant Commissioner Cadre in each examination center along with police personnel. Totally 530 Observers, 1060 Special Invigilation Squad members, 530 Custodians and around 8409 Invigilators, 20415 Officers and officials are deployed for the examination duties.
