Assam Cabinet decides to reopen classes from Higher Secondary to PG level from 1st week of September

Assam Cabinet on Thursday decided to reopen the classes from Higher Secondary to Postgraduate level from first week of September, 2021 with mandatory first dose vaccination for attending classes and both doses for staying at hostels.

Briefing the media after the Cabinet meeting Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that Covid-19 vaccination camps to be held at the offices of Block Elementary Education Officer, District Elementry Education Officer, Inspector of Schools and all university campuses from August 27, 2021 up to September 5, 2021.

Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) regarding reopening of institutions to be announced on or before August 31.
