West Bengal administered two doses of COVID-19 vaccines to over one crore people till now

West Bengal has administered two doses of COVID-19 vaccines to over one crore people till now. With this, it has become the fourth state in the country after Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat to inoculate more than a crore population with both the doses against COVID-19 infection.

West Bengal has touched double milestones in Covid vaccination on the first day of the week. The state inoculated over 5 lakh persons for the first time which took the tally of fully vaccinated citizens to more than a crore. The number of total vaccination in the state has crossed 3 crore 67 lakhs so far.

Kolkata, with over 53 lakh vaccinated beneficiaries, is now gearing up to make its citizens fully vaccinated. The civic body has changed its norm and will now be administering vaccine doses on a first come first serve basis from all of its CVCs including Mega centres from 10am to 4pm starting today.
