PM Modi’s vision of ‘Purvoday’ will ensure infrastructure development in eastern part of the country: Dharmendra Pradhan

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has said that the Prime Minister’s vision of ‘Purvoday’ will ensure infrastructure development in the eastern part of the country. Reviewing the progress of various national highway projects in Odisha at Bhubaneswar on Sunday, the Union Minister said Odisha will be the centre of development in Eastern India.

Reviewing various highway projects like the coastal highway under Bharatmala Pariyojana, Bhubaneswar Ring Road, 8-Lane economic corridor from Paradeep to Badbil and other projects with the officials of the National Highway Authority of India, the Union Minister laid stress on their time bound completion. He said, these projects will help boost the economy of the state and create employment opportunities for the youths, besides giving a shot in the arms of both transportation and tourism. Earlier,  the Union Education Minister Mr Pradhan reviewed the education scenario in the state with regional heads of central Institutes like the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan,(KVS), CBSE, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti and NCERT and emphasized on quality education and nutritional food for the students. The Union Education Minister also discussed a range of educational issues with the vice chancellors and directors of Central Government educational institutions like IIT, IIM, IISER, NIT and IGNOU and hoped that these institutes will help create an appropriate ecosystem for the implementation of the new education policy that aims at the holistic development of the country.
