Union Minister L Murugan assures, he will work for betterment of Tamil Nadu by working with Centre

Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Dr.L.Murugan has assured that he will work for the betterment of Tamil Nadu by working with the Centre.

After inaugurating a photo exhibition at the Vivekananda memorial to celebrate 75 years of Independence today, he said, India has been striding proud under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi since 2014.

Dr.Murugan said, under the Prime Minister’s able guidance the Country was able to recover from Covid-19 in a short period. The Minister said, the Prime Minister always encouraged indigenous production in all sectors including manufacture of vaccines. He welcomed the Tamil Nadu Government’s move to encourage private participation of vaccination through Corporate Social Responsibility,CSR programmes. Later the Minister released the booklet on Covid and handed over the first copy to Tamil Nadu’s health Minister M.Subramaniam.

Speaking at the function, Mr.Subramaniam said, the State Government was able to tackle the challenge of Covid in a swift manner. He appealed to the Centre to provide more vaccines. The Minister said, two lakh vaccines are used to vaccinate people of the State. Both the Ministers flagged off ten audio video awareness vans to spread the awareness of various programmes of the Government.
