I&B Minister Anurag Singh Thakur on five-day tour to Himachal Pradesh as part of his Jan Ashirwad Yatra

Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Singh Thakur is on a five-day tour to his home state Himachal Pradesh as part of his Jan Ashirwad Yatra starting from today. Union Minister will lead the Jan Ashirwad Yatra to reach out to the people directly in the state.

AIR correspondent reports that Union Information and Broadcasting, sports and Youth affairs Minister Anurag Singh Thakur is reaching Himachal Pradesh for the first time today after assuming the charge of two important ministries in a recent cabinet reshuffle. The state in charge of the Jan Ashirwad yatra  , Sanjeev Katwal said the Yatra will start from Parwanoo today under the leadership of union Minister  and will end at Mehatpur in Una  district  on 23 of this month. The State BJP President Suresh Kashyap will welcome the Union Minister along with ministers, senior leaders and party workers.

The BJP Jan Ashirwad Yatra will pass through all the four Lok Sabha constituencies of the state and will cover a distance of 6,30 km.   In the first leg , the Yatra will reach Shimla this evening via Solan where Union Minister Anurag Singh Thakur and Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur will address the public meeting. During his five day stay, the Union Minister will also address public gatherings at different places. Keeping in view of Covid situation, Union Minister has urged the party workers, officials and individuals to follow the covid protocol strictly during the Yatra. It may be recalled that, ministers, party MLAs, candidates of the 2017 assembly, presidents and vice-presidents of corporations and boards, public representatives and prominent workers will welcome the Jan Ashirwad Yatra in their respective circles.
