In Uttar Pradesh, the government has tabled it’s first supplementary budget for the current financial year in Assembly today.
Earlier, the Government had tabled it’s general budget in the month of February this year.
AIR correspondent reports, Finance minister Suresh Khanna presented the supplementary budgetary demands of Rs. 7,301.5 crores in the house in the presence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
This budget is 1.33 percent of the total general budget.
Speaking on the occasion finance minister said that the supplementary demands are taken for different expenditure in the field of welfare of Anganwadi workers, Asha workers, lawyers, electricity, protection of cows and development works in Ayodhya including others.
Three thousands will be for employment for youths.

Yesterday, the Assembly was adjourned for the day after paying tribute to its six sitting members including a minister of state in government.
