President Ram Nath Kovind will address the nation today on the eve of 75th Independence Day. The address will be broadcast from 7 PM on the entire national network of All India Radio and all channels of Doordarshan in Hindi followed by the English version.
Broadcast of the address in Hindi and English on Doordarshan will be followed by broadcast in regional languages by the regional channels of DD. AIR will broadcast regional language versions at 9.30 PM on its regional networks.
The regional news bulletins originated by stations scheduled from 7 pm onward will be adjusted by the respective AIR stations. News bulletins in Nepali at 7.25 pm and Punjabi at 7.30 pm shall stand cancelled.
