3rd Battalion of 23 sector Assam Rifles launches video version of “Jana Gana Mana” sung by Esther Hnamte

In Mizoram, 3rd Battalion of 23 sector Assam Rifles launched a video version of “Jana Gana Mana” sung by 5 years old prodigy Miss Esther Hnamte of Lunglei. The Assam Rifles has taken this effort as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to commemorate the 75 years of India’s Independence.

Assam Rifles officials said, the video showing the March Past, wherein little Esther also joined along with singing the National Anthem will promote PM’s Act East policy and send a strong message of peace & harmony to the entire Nation. The video also depicts the role of security forces and how it has changed the environment in North East India.

Miss Esther, a pre-school girl from Lunglei district has earlier received praise from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and music maestro A R Rahman and lakhs of netizens for her earlier mesmerizing rendition of Maa Tujhe Selam – Vande Matram.

The released function was organised at Camp Movie Theatre Elite Movie Hall at Lunglei.
