As part of celebrations under ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ Fit India Freedom Run organised at 6 iconic places in MP

As part of celebrations under ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’, Fit India Freedom Run was organised at 6 iconic places in Madhya Pradesh. Regional Director of NSS M.P – C.G  Mr. A.S. Kabir informed that in MadhyaPradesh Fit India Freedom Run is being organised jointly by Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYK) and National Service Scheme under the theme ‘Jan Bhagidari se Jan Andolan’.

Fit India Freedom Run is being organized at 75 identified locations in all 52 districts of Madhya Pradesh. Today Fit India Freedom Run was organised at Gwalior, Sagar, Ashoknagar, Shivpuri, Betul and Burhanpur. In Gwalior, the Freedom Run started from the historic fort, remembering the contribution made by Jhansi ki Rani Laxmibai in the freedom struggle, while at Shivpuri it started from the Samadhi Sthal of Tatya Tope. Tomorrow Fit India Freedom Run will be organized at Agar Malwa, Alirajpur and Anuppur districts. The run will be organised in other districts of the state as well till October 2nd.
