Madhya Pradesh govt constitutes task force to provide relief to flood affected areas

Madhya Pradesh government has constituted a task force to provide relief to the flood affected areas. Chief Minister is constantly conducting review of flood affected areas.

AIR correspondent reports that the relief and rehabilitation work is being conducted continuously in districts of Sheopur, Ashoknagar, Shivpuri, Datia, Morena, Bhind, Guna and Gwalior.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has said that the first objective is to complete the rehabilitation works by providing relief to the public. Chief Minister also instructed that after the survey work, initially an amount of Rs. 6000 should be provided to those families whose houses have been damaged. In the long-term plan, work will be done to give an amount of Rs. 1 lakh 20 thousand to affected families whose houses have been damaged.
