Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today made an aerial survey of flood-affected areas of the state today to assess the damage caused by prevailing floods. Mr Kumar made an aerial survey of Patna,Nalanda,Gaya and Jehenabad.
After the survey, Mr Kumar held review meeting with the District Magistrates of affected districts and instructed them to provide necessary support to the affected population without any delay. The Chief minister asked concerned officials to survey the flood affected areas tomorrow .
Nitish Kumar said, farming activities have been badly affected due to the excessive rainfall and floods.The Chief Minister said he will made an aerial survey of flood affected areas in next week also. Meanwhile Ganga and Punpun is flowing above danger mark. Surging water of these river is engulfing fresh areas of flood affected districts.
