1st Test: England all out for 183 runs in their first innings against India on Day 1

In the opening Cricket test match of five-match series, England were all out for 183 runs in their first innings against India on day one at Trent Bridge in Nottingham. In reply, India were 8 runs for no loss when reports last came in. Earlier England captain Joe Root won the toss and elected to bat first.

For India Jasprit Bumrah claimed 4 wickets while Mohd. Shami bagged 3 wickets.
