West Bengal crosses milestone of inoculating more than 3 crore Covid vaccine doses

West Bengal has crossed the milestone of inoculating more than 3 crore Covid vaccine doses as 4 lakh 28 thousand people got the jab yesterday.

The state administered 3 crore 2 lakh 44 thousand doses so far and became the seventh state in the country to achieve the feat.

More than 2 crore 14 lakh 55 thousand persons have got the first dose while over 87 lakh 88 thousand got the second dose. Kolkata leads the vaccination coverage among the districts within Bengal with over 46 lakh doses while North 24 Parganas comes second with more than 30 lakh doses.
