UP creates record by administering over 22 lakh doses of COVID vaccine in single day

Uttar Pradesh created a record by administering more than 22 lakh doses of covid vaccine in a single day on Tuesday. State achieved this target in a mega vaccination drive which was launched today and the numbers are still counting.

With this Uttar Pradesh has also became the first state in the country to administer more than 5 crore covid vaccines. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath congratulated people of the state for the achievement and thanked central government for its support in mega vaccination drive. He said that covid vaccination is the only security cover for the infection and everyone must take it. Additional chief secretary health Amit Mohan Prasad said that cluster approach for the vaccination drive resulted in the high number of vaccination.
