Institutions of Higher Education to reopen in Ladakh today

Institutions of Higher Educational will reopen in Ladakh today.  Authorities have decided to reopen these institutions as the covid situation in the Union Territory is under control. These institutions are starting physical classes after a gap more than nine months.

AIR correspondent reports that Higher education institutions are once again coming live with off line classes from today. Ladakh Higher Education Department Secretary Padma Angmo in a series of orders has directed higher educational institutions and technical institutions to resume physical and onsite classes with strict adherence of Covid SoP.

Campuses of University of Ladakh and constituents Colleges are reopening off line classes since shifted to online mode from November 2020 due to covid pandemic. While students studying in technical Institutes like polytechnic colleges and Industrial Training Institutes are joining their onsite classes for academic works from today. These Institutes have also been ordered to reopen as per advisory and SoP by the Director General of Training and the guidelines of Covid Management, which remained closed since September 2020.
