Ek Bharat Shresth Bharat programme: Various activities taken to enhance interaction between people of Sikkim & Delhi

Ek Bharat Shresth Bharat programme aims to enhance the bonding among states through the appreciation of each other’s culture and traditions.

Under Ek Bharat Shresth Bharat, Sikkim has been paired with national capital Delhi, wherein various activities have taken place to enhance interaction between the people of two states.

Due to the COVID19 pandemic, several programmes have been postponed or cancelled since 2020, but the central government is organising programmes in the virtual mode. Going forward, programmes based on historical significance, cultural exchanges, traditional instruments, festivals of Sikkim and Delhi and language learning have been planned in the virtual mode.
