The three major US equity indexes hovered near record highs yesterday.

Wall Street stocks appreciated marginally as investors showed cautious approach ahead of heavyweight company results this week.

Investors stayed away from big bets in the run up to a policy meeting by the US Federal Reserve.

Investors are waiting for the second-quarter earnings results for further cues amid the concerns over the spread of Delta variant of COVID-19.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average and the S&P 500, both gained 0.2 percent while the Nasdaq Composite index added few points but ended almost flat.
