Various parts of Himachal Pradesh are experiencing intermittent light to moderate rains for the last few days. Indian Meteorological Department has forecast very heavy rainfall in state over the next few days. Met Department has issued a warning of heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places of the state till 30th of this month.
A red alert has also been issued for heavy to extremely heavy rainfall at isolated places of Bilaspur, Kangra, Sirmaur and Mandi districts during the next 36 hours. Met Department has also issued an advisory regarding possibility of landslides at many places in the state. It has also warned of flash floods and uprooting of trees due to heavy rains in the next few days. State Meteorological Centre has advised locals and tourists not to venture near rivers and rivulets in the hill state in the coming days to avoid any untoward incident.
