More than 42 crore 78 lakh COVID vaccine doses administered in country so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive

More than 42 crore 78 lakh COVID vaccine doses have been administered in the country so far under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive. Union Health Ministry said, more than 42 lakh 67 thousand vaccine doses were administered during the last 24 hours. The recovery rate has reached 97.35 per cent. More than 35 thousand patients recovered during last 24 hours. Till now, more than three crore five lakh people have recovered from COVID-19. India reported more than 39 thousand new cases in last 24 hours. Country’s Active Caseload currently at four lakh eight thousand 977.

 

Active cases constitute 1.31 per cent of total cases. Weekly Positivity Rate remains below five per cent and it is currently at 2.22 per cent. Daily positivity rate at 2.40 per cent and it is less than three per cent for 33 consecutive days. 546 deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours. Till now, more than four lakh 20 thousand people have lost their lives due to the pandemic. Testing capacity has been substantially ramped up and more than 45 crore 45 lakh tests have been conducted till now. Yesterday, more than 16 lakh 31 thousand tests were conducted.
