Two terrorists killed in gunfight in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district

In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, two terrorists were killed in a gunfight that broke out last night between terrorists and security forces at Warpora village of Sopore area in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district. The identity of the slain terrorists is being ascertained.

 

As per official sources, the joint team of security forces including J&K Police, Army and Central Reserve Police Force was fired upon by terrorists when a Cardon and Search Operation (CASO) was launched in the area and in retaliation, two unidentified terrorists were neutralised by the security forces. Search operation in the area was underway when the reports last came in. Further details are awaited.
