NCP leader Supriya Sule launches ‘Jivlag’ scheme to help children orphaned due to Corona virus pandemic

NCP leader Supriya Sule has launched ‘Jivlag’ scheme to help children orphaned due to the Corona virus pandemic. The scheme was launched yesterday to mark Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar’s birthday. During the launch, which was attended by party patriarch Sharad Pawar via video conferencing, it was announced that the party will support at least 450 children in every possible way. A NCP volunteer was present at each of these homes during the launch to get acquainted with the caregivers and the child in particular.

Ms. Sule also spoke to some of the special children and enquired about their needs from the caregivers. In a tweet, the Baramati MP said, her party, through its welfare trust, will remain in constant touch with these children and help in their upbringing.
