I-T dept rejects allegations of suggesting changes in stories & taking editorial decisions during search on offices of publication

Income Tax Department, which conducted search on offices of a certain publication yesterday has rejected the allegations that the officials were suggesting changes in stories and taking editorial decisions. In a tweet, Income Tax India has said that these allegations are absolutely false. It said, in keeping with the Department’s protocol, the investigation team only looked into the financial transactions of the group related to tax evasion.
