Both Houses of Parliament have been adjourned till 12 noon following opposition protest on Pegasus snooping and other issues . When the Lok Sabha met for the day, opposition members including Congress, TMC and other parties trooped into the well of the House holding placards demanding judicial probe into alleged Pegasus snooping case. Shiromani Akali Dal members were protesting against the three Farm Laws.
Amid the pandemonium Speaker Om Birla tried to run the Question Hour. He urged the protesting members to return to their seats and allow the House to function properly. As the opposition protest continued the Speaker adjourned the House till 12 noon. Earlier Mr. Birla greeted Indian contingent to Tokyo Olympics 2020 on behalf of the House.
In the Rajya Sabha when Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu announced the Suspension TMC member Shantanu Sen from the House for his unruly behaviour yesterday, some opposition members objected to the move.
Members from Congress, TMC, DMK, Shiv Sena, RJD and others were on their feet raising the Pegasus snooping issue. Opposition had given adjournment motions on alleged snooping and other issues. As noisy scene continued, Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu adjourned the House till 12 noon.
Earlier, Mr Naidu expressed displeasure over the continuous disruption in the House and asked the members to think about their approach in the House.
