Maharashtra crosses 4 cr mark in nationwide vaccination drive

Maharashtra has crossed the four crore mark in the nationwide vaccination drive. It has also topped the cumulative vaccination tally in the country.

Additional Chief Secretary of the Health Department Dr. Pradip Vyas informed in a statement today that after the vaccination till this afternoon, 4 crore 24 thousand 701 vaccines have been given to the beneficiaries in the state so far.

The statement said that the number of citizens who took the first dose is three crore six lakh 99 thousand 339 while the number of those who took the second dose is 93 lakh 25 thousand 362.

According to the statement, one lakh 20 thousand people have been vaccinated in the state till this afternoon.
